On Wednesday, March 5, former South Lake High School standout Nia DeBenedittis’ current college team, the Saint Leo Lions, won 8-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Adelphi Panthers.
The game took place at Mary Cannon Cabot Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Panthers this season.
The Lions’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 5 p.m. at Mary Cannon Cabot Stadium against Wilmington Wildcats.
