On Sunday, March 16, former South Lake High School standout Destiny Johns’ current college team, the Florida Atlantic Owls, won 5-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the UAB Blazers.
The game took place at Mary Bowers Field. This was their third matchup against the Blazers this season.
The Owls’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 6 p.m. at FAU Softball Stadium against Charlotte 49ers.
