The City of Clermont’s Public Services Department will soon begin replacing 300 inefficient water meters in several locations throughout the city.

The work is scheduled to begin Monday, January 9, will be completed during regular business hours, and is expected to take four to five weeks to complete.

The city has hired National Metering Services, Inc. to do this work.  Below is the company’s logo and a picture of the vehicles you can expect to see in your neighborhood.

The process to remove and replace each meter, and the meter box if it is damaged, is expected to take about 30 minutes.  Your water will be turned off during this process.

If you have questions or concerns about this work, please contact:

Thank you for your patience as we work to improve your water service.
