North Lake Times

Work on the third and final phase of the Streetscape project resumed Monday after the holiday season. Crews closed the intersection of W. Montrose and Lake Avenue, Section 5, and began removing the old asphalt.  Underground utilities will be upgraded, and brick pavers will be added. Work is expected to take about four weeks to complete.

 The focus will then move to 7th Street between W. Montrose Street and Minneola Avenue – Sections 6 and 7 - and take about four months to complete.

 Access to businesses and parking will remain during the work, and traffic will be routed around the active work areas. As with any construction project, weather or other unforeseen conditions could impact the schedule, including supply chain/material delays.
