The City of Tavares will be hosting a Smart Growth Public Workshop on Monday, June 13, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Tavares City Council Chambers in City Hall at 201 East Main St., Tavares, Florida. This Workshop will provide an opportunity for public participation in evaluating and discussing the challenges and opportunities that accompany population growth and development. Public participation is encouraged for recommendations regarding future growth management, improvement to City development regulations, and how the City of Tavares may continue being a distinctive, attractive, and economically strong community. All citizens and community stakeholders are invited to attend the Smart Growth Workshop. One or more City Council Members and one or more Lake County Board of County Commissioners may be in attendance and may comment during this public meeting.
