Closures for Christmas and New Year Holidays

City of Eustis issued the following announcement on Dec. 16.

Eustis City Government offices will be closed for normal business in observance of the Christmas and New Year holidays.

Closure information is as follows: 

Christmas 

All City offices and programs will be closed on Thursday, December 23 and Friday, December 24, 2021.

The Eustis Memorial Library will be closed on Thursday, December 23 and Friday, December 24, 2021.

Normal business hours will resume for all government offices, including the Library, on Monday, December 27, 2021.

New Year

All City offices and programs will be closed on Friday, December 31, 2021.

The Eustis Memorial Library will close on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 5 p.m. and is closed Friday, December 31, 2021.

Normal business hours will resume for all government offices, including the Library, on Monday, January 3, 2021.

Garbage/Yard Waste/Recycling Service

Christmas

No service on Saturday, December 25, 2021.  Garbage/yard waste and recycling will be picked up on regular scheduled day, along with the normal Monday collection services. 

New Year

No service on Saturday, January 1, 2022.  Garbage/yard waste and recycling will be picked up on regular scheduled day, along with the normal Monday collection services.

Additionally, there will be no commercial container services on December 25 and January 1. Those customers whose service may fall on those holidays will have their container serviced on an alternate day during the week (either Friday or Monday). Please direct any questions regarding the holiday garbage/yard waste schedule to Waste Management at 1-866-684-3142.
