Lake County issued the following announcement on Sept. 22.
Lake County is inviting the public to attend a joint workshop between the Board of County Commissioners and the Tourist Development Council to discuss the overall strategy for
tourism in Lake County. The workshop will take place Wednesday, Sept. 29 from 1-5 p.m. at the Tavares Pavilion on the Lake located at 200 S. Disston Ave., Tavares. There will be
no period for public comments at the workshop and no formal action will be taken by the Board at the meeting.
