Lake-Sumter State College is proud to launch a laptop assistance program. Utilizing funds from the federal Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund, LSSC will be providing interested, enrolled students with their own personal Dell laptop, at no cost to the student.

As of 11am on Aug. 19, we have received more requests than we are able to accommodate for Fall 2021. Please keep checking your Lakehawk email for information on future programs. If you already submitted a request, we will send you additional details through your Lakehawk email.

A limited number of laptops are available in this program and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Be enrolled in at least 6 credits for Fall 2021 on August 30, 2021

Not be a dual enrollment or transient student

Eligible students will be notified via email and may pick up their laptop beginning Monday, August 30.

No technical assistance will be available for laptop setup, but students can refer to the Technology Help Desk for instructions on installing free Microsoft Office products with their Lakehawk account.
