On Saturday, April 12, former South Lake High School standout Nia DeBenedittis’ current college team, the Saint Leo Lions, lost 11-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Nova Southeastern Sharks.
The game took place at Mary Cannon Cabot Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Sharks this season.
The Lions’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 16 at 2 p.m. at Flagler Field against Flagler Saints.
