On Sunday, April 13, former South Lake High School standout Destiny Johns’ current college team, the Florida Atlantic Owls, won 8-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the North Texas Mean Green.
The game took place at FAU Softball Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Mean Green this season.
The Owls’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, April 17 at 5 p.m. at Max R. Joyner Family Stadium against East Carolina Pirates.
