On Friday, March 7, former South Lake High School standout Nia DeBenedittis’ current college team, the Saint Leo Lions, won 9-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Wilmington Wildcats.

The game took place at Mary Cannon Cabot Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Wildcats this season.

The Lions’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11 at 5 p.m. at Mary Cannon Cabot Stadium against West Liberty Hilltoppers.
