On Saturday, March 15, former South Lake High School standout Nia DeBenedittis’ current college team, the Saint Leo Lions, won 1-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Barry Buccaneers.

The game took place at Mary Cannon Cabot Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Buccaneers this season.

The Lions’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 15 at 2 p.m. at Mary Cannon Cabot Stadium against Barry Buccaneers.
