Lake County Library Services to open temporary East Lake facility

0Comments

Lake County Library Services is planning to open a temporary East Lake facility at the East Lake Sports & Community Complex within the next 6 months.

The East Lake County Library, located at 31340 County Rd 437 in Sorrento, was closed on Friday, July 8 due to building maintenance and security concerns and in preparation of the new facility.

With its location at the East Lake Sports & Community Complex, the temporary facility will offer library patrons closer proximity to amenities, such as a playground, walking trails, baseball, soccer, and football fields, and more. While patrons enjoy all the features of the park, they can pick up the latest bestsellers, children’s books and DVDs/Blu-rays from the temporary library and will have access to public computers, Wi-Fi, and printing. The facility will also provide residents with the ability to check out sporting equipment, such as basketballs, soccer balls, etc., to be used at the park.
