Lake County Government Offices to Close for Veterans Day

In observance of the Veterans Day holiday, the following Lake County offices will be closed on Friday, November 11:

·         All offices of the Lake County Board of County Commissioners

·         The offices of the Property Appraiser, Supervisor of Elections, and Tax Collector

·         The Lake County Extension Center
 

The offices will reopen the following business day: Monday, November 14.

The County’s fixed-route bus system, LakeXpress, and paratransit service, Lake County Connection, will operate as normal on Veterans Day.

Additional Facility and Service Closures:

The Lake County Animal Shelter will be closed on Friday, November 11, and will reopen on Saturday, November 12.

All 16 Lake County Library locations will be closed on the holiday in observance. The libraries will reopen on their next regularly scheduled business day.
