City of Tavares recently issued the following announcement.

January 22nd, The Eustis, Tavares, and Mount Dora Fire Departments will be hosting the Second Annual Tri-City Food Drive Challenge. 

Donations of non-perishable food items can be dropped off on Jan. 22nd, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Tavares at Fire Station 28 The Main Public Safety Complex at 911 Gateway Drive.

The event is sponsored by the Golden Triangle Rotary Club and the goods collected will benefit the Lake Cares Food Pantry.

Last year’s event went amazing! Our community truly knows how to come together to achieve great things. We want to make this year even better!
