HSCA 2-Year Program Parent/Student Info Session on Feb. 9

Lake Sumter State College recently issued the following announcement.

February 9 @ 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Through a partnership with Lake County Schools and Lake-Sumter State College, HSCA offers a one-of-a-kind experience that lets students enroll in college-level courses, and explore a future career in Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) and Health Sciences field. The program incorporates observations and job shadowing at Orlando Health South Lake Hospital or AdventHealth Waterman. Additional experiential learning opportunities are continually being developed to align with students’ career interests.

The Health Sciences Collegiate Academy (HSCA) offers an accelerated, two-year program for incoming 11th graders in Lake County.

Please plan to attend one of our informational sessions. Students currently in 10th grade at Lake County Schools, and Pinecrest Lakes Academy Middle High will receive a letter to their home address, and students will receive a reminder card at school.
