Government Closure for Thanksgiving Holiday

Eustis City Government offices will be closed on Thursday, November 24, and Friday, November 25, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Normal hours of business will resume on Monday, November 28.

 The following programs and services are affected by the holiday closure:

Eustis Memorial Library

The Library will be closed from Thursday, November 24, through Sunday, November 27. Hours of operation will resume Monday, November 28, from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Parks & Recreation Services

All Parks & Rec program activities and services will be closed Thursday, November 24, and Friday, November 25.

Garbage/Yard Waste/Recycling Service

No garbage collection service on Thursday, November 24 (Thanksgiving). Therefore, if your collection day falls on Thanksgiving, it will be picked up on Friday, November 25.

If your scheduled collection day is Friday, November 25, it will be picked up on Saturday, November 26.  

 Additionally, there will be no Commercial Container Services on Thursday, November 24 (Thanksgiving). Those customers whose service day falls on Thursday will have their container serviced on an alternate day, following the holiday.
