On Thursday, Feb. 13, former South Lake High School standout Destiny Johns’ current college team, the Florida Atlantic Owls, won 13-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Minnesota Golden Gophers.
The game took place at FAU Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Golden Gophers this season.
The Owls’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 1:30 p.m. at FAU Softball Stadium against Villanova Wildcats.
