On Friday, Feb. 28, former South Lake High School standout Destiny Johns’ current college team, the Florida Atlantic Owls, won 10-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Morehead State Eagles.
The game took place at Cathi Maynard Park. This was their first matchup against the Eagles this season.
The Owls’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 1 p.m. at Cathi Maynard Park against Austin Peay Lady Govs.
