Clermont City Employees Honored for Years of Service

The City of Clermont celebrated 28 employees who combined have dedicated 380 years of service to the community, including one employee who has 30 years and another who has 35 years!

Clermont’s Public Services Department has been work home for Richard Laney for 35 years and for Sammy “Gene” Upshaw for 30 years.

“The knowledge and experience Richard and Gene bring to work every day is absolutely amazing,” City Manager Brian Bulthuis said. “All of our employees, the long-term and the newly hired, are what make Clermont such a special and successful place. Today we are celebrating those who have reached significant milestones.”

Curt Henschel with Development Services, Jimmy Pacheco with the Fire Department, and David “Lee” VanDever with Public Services each celebrate 20 years with the City.
