City of Leesburg offices will close for Labor Day

City of Leesburg offices and facilities will close Monday, September 5, in observance of the Labor Day holiday.  Closings include City Hall, the Municipal Services Center and the Leesburg Public Library.

There will be no garbage, yard waste, bulk items, appliance or recycling collection on Monday, September 5. Residential and commercial solid waste regularly scheduled for pick up on Mondays will be picked up on Thursday, September 8. Recyclables will be collected on the next regularly scheduled recycling pick up day. There will be no change for dumpster service for the holiday.

Many City services including Building Permits, Planning and Zoning applications and utility payments can be conducted online at www.LeesburgFlorida.gov.

All City facilities will reopen on Tuesday, September 6.
